Redwine and Roses
Redwine and Roses
A winner is just a loser who didn't know when to quit"... a phrase that is written on a wall, in a club in Nashville Tennessee, where Rob was playing one night recently. A phrase that should be his own personal theme song. Considering he's written so many great songs about losers, and being unlucky, and golden boys, and those who seem to land on their feet. He likes to refer to himself as an underdog. And after hearing his story, you would believe it too.
With over 140 songs written, 4 albums recorded, 1 book published, a song that will soon be featured in a major movie, and countless co-writes, you would think that he is far from anything resembling an underdog. Yet he still flys directly under the radar screen of every media source in his hometown. Sure he is extremely popular in other countries and states, yet you almost hear very little about him in and around the metroplex where he lives.
Being a successful songwriter for over 12 years is not an easy task for anyone. Continuing to write new, fresh material, that pushes the envelope each and every time is an even more daunting task. Blend all of that with health scares that would have made the strongest of men weep, and you come up with a cocktail of one of the most fascinating songwriters that has ever come out of Fort Worth, Texas.
He is the founder/front man of the Americana/southern rock band Redwine and Roses. He is also one of the most moving songwriters and solo artists out there. If there ever was a storyteller through song, it's him.
Redwine and Roses - Rob Redwine, Rebecca Jozwiak, DeAntae Wofford, Matt Lane, Seth Haney

2016 was a breakout year for The Powell Brothers. The band released its first radio single, "Four Wheel Hotel," in November of 2016. In its very first week on radio, the single debuted on both the Texas Regional Radio Report and CDX Traction Texas charts and continues to climb. The group is not slowing down in 2017. Looking to capitalize on the previous success, the band released a new EP entitled “Introducing... The Powell Brothers” on February 14, 2017. Lead singer Taylor Powell stated “Our formula will always remain the same. Trust in God. Work hard. Give thanks. Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Lead guitarist Blake Powell echoes his brother’s thoughts and adds “We are committed to thoughtful songwriting and releasing new material that expresses our prospectives both lyrically and musically.
