Bum Lucky
Mike Richardson (Vocals and Guitar), Alex Rivera (Guitar), Jamey Gleaves (Bass Guitar), Juan Galvan (Keyboards), Patrick Snowden (Drums)and Christiegirl(Percussion and Backup Vocals) make up the Dallas Dub-Reggae/Rock band known as Bum Lucky. Pieced together in late 2010 thru today, this six piece band has made a name for themselves in the Texas Dub-Reggae/Rock music scene as one of the most sought after live acts in the DFW area. After leaving roots in Tempe, AZ where the original member of Bum Lucky began their music career, soon made new connections with one another in the Dallas area and quickly discovered that they shared a deep passion for peace, love, unity, and music. It is this style of family that allowed for the development of their unique sound that has been described by many areas of media as an upbeat fusion of Dub, Reggae, with a little Steppers, and that good old fashioned Rock and Roll. With major influences like Slightly Stoopid, The Movement, Sublime and Bob Marley. Bum Lucky aspires to make their own mark on the Reggae music industry like the many greats before them.
Lion Eye Band
Lion Eye Band
Lion Eye is a seamless blend of two of the most influential genres of modern music: Reggae/Dancehall and Hip Hop/Rap. Born from the absolute hunger to create music: Lion Eye's lead vocalists Giggy, Dru B Shinin', and Young Zeus came together to create an unstoppable, unrepeatable sound, by adding and improving their own unique strengths. Having been the engineer and drummer for local acts Dru B Shinin', and Mount Olympus, Paul "Giggy" Gordon (originally from Kingston, Jamaica) wanted to create a movement that would be heard around the world. He enlisted the talents of Dru B Shinin' and Young Zeus to embark on a journey to make meaningful music, that was a mix of their own native tongue and cultures. Now, with the addition of Paul Garza (bass), Josh Vandenburg (Lead Guitar), Sam Rude (Rhythm Guitar), Blaq Ron (drums), and Shayla Sweetz (back up vocals), Lion Eye is a true live music experience not to be missed. Follow @LionEyeBand on twitter to keep up with the progress.
